Greater Philadelphia Christian Writer's Conference (regional) Philadelphia Biblical University, Langhorne, Pennsylvania.  In operation for almost thirty years, this regional conference attracts national best-selling authors, editors, publishers, recording artists, and publishing agents for the sole purpose of honoring God through the gift of writing.  Experienced industry professionals share their knowledge with new writers over a three day time period.  It is held on the second weekend in August each year.  Teaches: 'Working with the Media,' 'Book Promotion,' and 'Start to Finish for the First-Time Author.'

Memphis Black Writer's Conference and Southern Film Festival (national), Memphis, Tennessee.  Member: International/Christian Executive Advisory Board & 2007 Author's Hall of Fame.  This national writer's conference is held on the fourth weekend in April of each year.  Saturday morning events begin with a prayer breakfast featuring Christian authors, musicians, and ministers.  Join us!

Capital Book Fest, Largo, Maryland (Washington, DC Metropolitan area).  Each year, the Capital Book Fest, sponsored by The Washington Post newspaper, is held on the first Saturday in October and includes author readings, panels, cooking demonstrations, writing and publishing workshops, poetry performances, home-buying seminars, children's storytelling, and exhibitors. This event is produced by author and poet Kwame Alexander. Teaches: 'From Start to Finish for the First-Time Author.'
