I
am still buzzing from Senator Obama's awesome unity message at the
Democratic National Convention on August 28th. While I realize
that other events have seemingly distracted us for his sincere and
unapologetic acceptance speech, I am in awe of God's timing when his
favor rests on men and women that He chooses to lead the masses.
Prior to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's rise to national and international prominence, he stated that "I have an inner urge to serve humanity." He
was nineteen years of age was he accepted his call into ministry and
soon thereafter became co-pastor with his father at their local
church. Similarly, Jesus stated in the Book of Luke (19:10)
"For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost."
In the midst of Obama's speech, the profound statement that most captured my attention was when he uttered the words"The naysayers just don't get it. It's not about me, it's about you."
As
we enter into another change in seasons on the 22nd of this month,
allow God to use you as a change agent in this world. If not now,
then when?
Enjoy God's blessings!

Sheraton Music City, Nashville, TN, Sept. 7-9 for CPE. Hosted by the
Munce Group, CPE offers its members a 48-hour program that includes
worship, workshops, exhibit floor, supplier presentations, evening
showcases, and Bible conference on Sunday afternoon. According to
Munce, retailer pre-registration numbers are currently up 15% over this
time last year, and exhibitor booth space is sold out.
The Munce Group emphasizes order-writing at CPE, motivating retailers
